Welcome…

Flames is a vibrant CAPS-accredited netball club based in South Shropshire, up and running (and jumping!) for nearly twenty years.

Training is on Friday nights at Church Stretton Leisure Centre and matches are played on Sundays at The Telford Langley School with the Shropshire CVL Junior Netball League.

Through regular training sessions and matches we aim to create a club environment that promotes enjoyment, friendships, skills development, an understanding of teamwork, individual achievement, and above all, respect for each other in a sporting environment.

The training programme is supervised by the supremely experienced coach development consultant, Flames Netball Chairperson, Nicky Fuller. Nicky is more than ably supported by Level 2 coach and umpire, Clare Cruise, and a team of enthusiastic coaches consisting of parents and friends of the club. We encourage older players from within the club to take coaching and umpiring awards to help with younger age groups.

Flames Netball currently has one U11 team, two U14 teams and one U16 team. Owing to a very successful recruitment drive following on from the disruption of Covid, the club is presently oversubscribed and operating a waiting list. However if you have a child in school years 5 to 11 who would be interested in joining, or if you have any other questions, please get in touch.
