What a lovely evening to mark the end of a successful (if not rollercoaster!) 2021/22 season. It was a pleasure to hear what the children had written for each other’s certificates to celebrate each other’s strengths, and also to hear from the coaches marking individual achievements during the year.
The evening was made all the more special by the wonderful England and Wasps U19s player Niamh Kilgallen joining us to present the certificates, let us know a little more about her life in netball, and answer a myriad of questions from the audience. What a charming and inspiring young lady, for whom we will I’m sure watch her netball career flourish with interest.
Thanks so much to all who pitched in to bring the evening to fruition, and of course to the always supportive families who joined us to help honour our remarkable girls.
